Despite being branded as 'The World's Worst Pumpkin Patch, 'The 110 Farm' certainly didn't disappoint by bringing the community and local businesses together.

YouTuber Tom Cassell, also known as Syndicate, opened the doors to his Pumpkin Patch in Gee Cross, Stockport last month. Having branded the event as ‘The World's Worst Pumpkin Patch’, it was certainly a success for both weekends it was open (17th - 19th & 24th - 26th), working with small businesses and locally sourcing all of the decor. The Pumpkin Patch was open on his own farm, called ‘The 110 Farm’. The name comes from the farm being 110 acres.

The heavy rain and mud didn’t dampen the spirits of those who attended despite fears of cancellations due to the weather.

The team made sure to involve as many small businesses as possible when bringing the event together. The aim was to give back into the community. The Village Bakery, Ritas Reign and TwentyTwo Social were among some of the businesses who attended the patch selling food and sweet treats.

Tom also collaborated with local mural artist who goes by the name 'doodles_by_sherry' on social media to create all of the wooden signs you could see around the farm.

The 110 also collaborated with local farmers Joe Stockton and Mark Hazlehurst to create some of the decor on the farm. From the pumpkin house to the swing and the tractor, was all hand made and completely unique to this event.

The pumpkin patch was highly anticipated by Tom’s audience with the first wave of tickets being sold out in just 7 minutes. After realising the success, more tickets were released for the same weekend, selling out in around 60 seconds. A third wave of tickets were also released, again selling out in record time.

‘The 110 team’ also opened a fundraiser for The North West Air Ambulance to show their gratitude for their cause and as a thank you for responding efficiently after a vehicle accident on their land. Tom and ‘The 110 team’ raised £33,001 for the charity over the course of the event.

Those who attended have praised the efforts of Tom Cassell's very first Pumpkin Patch and have vowed to go again next year - where the promise from the team is bigger and better.
